In 2020, Henry Cai aka Fat Head Henry wanted to fulfill his dreams of owning a fast food chinese restaurant and preserving his father’s legacy.

With the lockdown because of Covid, Henry had to postpone his dreams and just decided to test his recipes for his friends. He began asking his friends on instagram if he wanted to try the food. His friends eventually told everyone they knew and the good news took over the city. Henry began taking orders on instagram and started selling 7 months ahead. He hand wrote and drew every bag to show his appreciation to his customers (to this day the bag is a symbol for 3LP to let everyone know how personal it means to Henry and the 3LP team that we have your support hence Get the pink bag)

Fast forward 5 months later, Fat Head Henry’s  smoker broke down and he knew he had to start something NOW. He started in a shared kitchen the great city of Chicago’s neighborhood Humboldt Park. With the help of the supporters in Chicago, social outlets, and news, Henry has achieved his dream. We, 3LP family, greatly appreciate the love the world has shown us to our food and service.
